We are the local home for the Masterton branch of the RSA - supporting the wellbeing of New Zealand veterans and their whānau.  Office is open on Monday mornings between 10.00am and midday. For more contact info, click here.

HEART HEALTH

Heart Foundation offer extensive resources around heart-health and rehabilitation.  They hold a monthly peer-support group meeting on the second Tuesday of each month, 1.30pm to 3.00pm.  For more info, click here.

Troubadour

Stefan Brown leads Troubadour Music Group on Mondays, 6.00 to 8.00pm.  If you enjoy group singing and popular music, come along.  Koha welcome. Text or call Stefan here for more information.

carer support group

Waicare offer a weekly gathering for supporting carers every Thursday from 9.30am to 12.30pm.  It's a relaxed, friendly gathering over morning tea.  It offers a safe place to discuss any issues and is open to all carers.  Call or text here for more information.

masterton Tramping Club

Yoga

The Women's Centre offers Yoga every Thursday from 12.30 to 1.30pm.  Bring along your mat (mats are supplied if you don't have one) and enjoy yoga adapted to your mobility.  Koha welcome.

Age concern

Office Room Hire

Office Rooms at the Centre

We have three office rooms that are available.  These rooms are available on a casual-short or casual-long-term basis only and cannot be booked for permanent tenancy.  The cost of hire is $10.00 + GST per hour.  Please refer to the terms and conditions here for further information.  If you wish to go ahead and make a booking-request, please click on the relevant room/button to download the request form and email your completed form to info@wcct.co.nz.  Please note all booking requests must be approved by the Centre Manager.

Available for counselling-type services only.  Suitable for up to 3 people

In the room: ethernet connection, desk/chair, one two-seater couch and large chair.

Shower Hire

Casual use of Showers at the Centre

There are two showers available at the Centre for hire on weekdays only, between 8.00am to 3.30pm.  The first is suitable for wheelchairs and has non-slip flooring and benchseat.  The second cubical shower is not suitable for wheelchairs and contains a non-slip mat for use after a shower.  These showers are available to people who, for whatever reason, cannot use their own shower as a one-off or short period of time only, such as a few weeks.  This could be due to house-renovations, house-moving, or a temporary change of personal circumstances. The charge for a shower is $5.00 + GST per person per use.
